Have you ever needed to contact a member in your Chapter, but didn't know her cell number or needed to send an email blast to everyone in your Chapter, but aren't sure if you have everyone's current email address?
Wonder no more how to get that information. Here are simple step-by-step instructions.
Login to the national website: www.nawic.org. Your login is your registered FirstnameLastName, without any spaces. If you can't remember your password, type in your username (firstnamelastname) and leave the password field blank then click on the login button, this will send your password to your email on file. If you’ve moved and don’t have access to that email account any longer, contact the National office to have it reset.
Click on the Member Center link under your name:
In the red bar, under the NAWIC logo, click on the Members dropdown, and choose Member Directory
You’ll get this screen
If you know the specific person’s name that you want, you can input either first or last name in the appropriate box.
Click on the Chapter field, or the Region field to isolate by the Chapter or Region.
For this tutorial, we chose South Central Region.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and change the output from HTML to Excel, then click on Search
A yellow bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. Depending on whether you chose a Chapter list or a Region list, or no filter, this may take several minutes to appear. Your internet connection may also impact how quickly the bar will appear.
Once the bar appears, you can either click on “Open” or on the dropdown next to Save, and save to a specific location where you want to keep this file.
